I bought these to have a bulk option for cotton balls to apply toner and astringent during my face and beauty routine -- They are quite small, though, so I often have to use 2 cotton balls to apply liquid. That defeats the purpose of buying this amount. Instead of buying 1000 in Size M. I should have bought 500 in Size L.

Had to count out bags for a kids craft and use the entire bag amount . There was less than that in the actual bag unfortunately and I had to supplement with my own.

These balls are about the size of my pinkie...I need to really stretch them out to use them. If you are looking for fluffy cotton balls that can hold product like nail polish remover or toner, I'd look for something larger. I won't return them because it's too much of a hassle, but I won't purchase again. Boo.

These were sized as expected, a good medium sized and tightly spun. I was pleasantly surprised where I had some doubts after reading through so many reviews to gauge what to expect. I used these for a project where I needed very large coverage and dimension in relationship to a very large sized as well. These worked great and were nice and tight as well, not the kind that fall apart or are loosely spun cotton.
