I purchased these dryer balls because I have a throw that needed washing and washing instructions suggested using the balls would keep the fluffy side soft and they did. I have used them since for several other washes, including towels and linens. I am impressed by the softness and that drying took a bit less time. I had to laugh as the balls do find places to hide that one cannot imagine. One con might be when I dried a load of dark clothes, I discovered just the tiniest bit of white fleck here and there. It was not a big deal to me. I may purchase the darker balls for darker items. There is no scent. Really like the product!!.

I tend to think that these things work. It seems that clothes clear the dryer faster when I add five or six of the balls to the load. They may also help a bit with wrinkles. I will say that these balls have eyes. Our laundry room is pretty small, and all exits are blocked. However, every now and then I'll lose one of these balls for a few days and then it just shows up.

Lost a set of these in a move, and was lost without them. Dryer performance is improved with the extra movement/airflow in there, and that helps with less use of the dryer itself. You can even scent them with essential oils if you want, since they are wool.

I ordered these and hoped that I'd be able to eliminate dryer sheets completely...that hasn't been the case for me. After doing several different types of loads of laundry (colors, whites, dark items) I noticed that I was getting significant static cling...not my favorite. So I still use these but I add a dryer sheet. The part I've appreciated is that these definitely help to make the dryer more efficient and my total drying time is shorter...especially for heavier loads like towels or blankets.

I switched from fabric softener to these dryer balls but I was skeptical. I have been using my original purchase (dark color) for almost 4 months and I am quite satisfied with the change. I would recommend these for anyone willing to take a chance and make the change.

I am definitely seeing less wrinkles in most of my laundry. The reason I have said most is because I haven’t had the opportunity to try my summer cottons and linens. As far as taking less time to dry, I’m not so sure. I haven’t done any timed studies. From what I have seen it is about the same with the balls as without. I don’t notice any scent??!!
